All art materials to complete the artwork (canvas, paint, brushes), easels, aprons, or art smocks for younger artists to help protect clothing, drop sheets to protect carpet, set up, pack up, transport to your venue and loads of fun!

Children paint on a 12 x 16 (30cm x 40cm) canvas. Adults paint on a 16 x 20 (40cm x 50cm) canvas.

Children's sessions last approximately 1.5 hours and adult sessions are 2-3 hours depending on the artwork chosen.

We are a small business so booking times fill up quickly. To ensure you don't miss out on your preferred date and time, parties should be booked as soon as possible. During busy periods like school holidays, Christmas and Tamworth Country Music Festival we recommend booking 2 months in advance.

We are located in Tamworth. Travel to venues within approximately 30 minutes of the centre of town are included in the cost. We are more than happy to travel to surrounding areas- Gunnedah, Manilla, Barraba, Uralla, Armidale and Nundle, however a small travel fee will be added to the cost of your event. Please ask about this when making your booking enquiry.

Usually we arrive approximately 1.5 hours prior to the event. We try to be set up before your guests arrive so everything is ready. We start the painting about 15 minutes after your starting time to ensure everyone has arrived, has a drink, is feeling relaxed and ready to paint. If your group is smaller this may be shorter.

No experience is necessary! This is fun art, not fine art. We cater for people who have never painted before to experienced artists. We have 3 levels we teach: beginners, intermediate and advanced and we can teach all 3 levels at the one event! We can prepare your canvas for you or you can draw your own version of the artwork being taught. We aim to develop your confidence as an artist.

Yes! The host gets to choose one design for the group to paint. I have a Look Book for you to choose from. However, if you have something specific your would like to paint please ask. We love to tailor make your party to suit your needs.

We specialise in painting on canvas. However, as a fully qualified art teacher, Sherry is able to teach in a variety of art forms. Some options include wooden welcome signs, painting ceramics or air dry clay, sculpture, printmaking, creative vision boards and wearable art. Send us a request and we will work with you to customise your party.

At this stage we cater for people aged 5-99+ years. However, keep an eye out for Mini & Me sessions where parents and carers of under 5's can create with their little ones.

Yes of course. We love working with all generations and seeing this gives us great joy! We charge according to the painters age and size of the canvas.

We suggest you wear older clothes which you don't mind getting messy and encourage everyone to be careful when painting, but we know accidents do happen. To ensure you have minimal mess we have tablecloths for the tables and drop cloths for carpeted areas or lounge suites, if requested, and aprons or artsmocks to protect you clothing. You may want to paint in an outdoor area, shed or garage if you are worried about it. We also clean as we go. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions in case you do end up with paint in unwanted places.

Of course! You're the artist and we love seeing your creativity. We encourage you to change up colours, shapes, composition and be adventurous in your painting, especially if you are a confident artist.

We use acrylic paints which tend to dry quite quickly especially if applied fairly thinly, as taught. Most paintings should be ready to take home at the end of the paint party. Please be aware that the thickness of the paint, the weather and if any paint mediums are used, drying time will be affected. If your painting isn't dry you could leave it at the host's house and arrange a pick up time.

Permission to publish is important to us so we will never post a photo of you without your permission. At the end of the session we always get a group photo. If you would prefer not to be on social media we still want you a part of the photo fun... just pop your painting over your face for anonymity. Our kids party photos for social media are always taken with the little artists 'hiding' behind their paintings.

Please fill in your booking request in the 'Contact Us' section and we will get back to you within 24 hours to confirm.

We will give you a few alternative days and times to choose from. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Your $100 booking fee is due at the time of booking confirmation to lock the date and time for your party. The balance for the party is due 24 hours prior to the event. If you have extra painters on the day the extra fees can be fixed up on the day.

If you cancel more than 2 weeks before your event due to change of mind, $50 will be forfeited from your booking fee. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before your event your full booking fee will be forfeited. If you reschedule a minimum of 2 weeks before your event, and rebook within 4 weeks, your booking fee will transfer to the new date. If you need to reschedule due to illness, rebook within 2 weeks of your event and your booking fee will transfer to your new booking.

Final full payment is due 24 hours prior to your event. If the payment is not made by this time your event will be cancelled and your booking fee forfeited.

We are a small family run business and your booking fee allows us to purchase the supplies needed for the paint party and pays for the administration for your party. It also means we are usually unable to make other booking so close to the date.

We accept cash, direct bank transfer and PayPal. We will send you our bank details and PayPal details with your confirmation dates.

We value good communication so we will be in touch to help you promote your event with your friends and family. We will send through promomotional images to help your guests get excited. We will also send through payment reminders and any extra information for set up.

No, Elevating Art Studio doesn't provide food or drinks. However, we have partnered with some other wonderful local businesses who do specialise in this and can cater for your needs. Check out our "Partner Businesses" section for some options and suggestions.

No, I am not licensed to serve alcohol. But, we come to your home or venue, so you are more than welcome to sip on any bevvy of your choice. We do encourage you to think about your Plan B if you have a few alcoholic drinks. Think about carpooling, get a loved one to pick you up afterwards, have a sleep over at the hosts house or to get an Uber.
